Connecting Sydney Quickly is an innovative strategy to implement the Connecting Sydney design and deliver better transport for Sydney. It will:

• accelerate delivery of a more efficient and productive transport network,
• enable reinvestment in strategic transport initiatives, and
• deliver better value for money for the people of NSW.

The strategy will fast track delivery of the Sydney Metro West and generate over $2 billion in productivity benefits, budget savings and value capture.

These benefits can be reinvested in other strategic transport and infrastructure initiatives, including a Western Harbour Tunnel and new rail connections to unserviced areas.

Connecting Sydney Quickly meets the key transport objectives of the NSW Government, including the:

• NSW Long Term Transport Master Plan,
• Infrastructure NSW State Infrastructure Strategy, and
• NSW 2021 goals.
